Get ready for Scotland

This month Mathieu & I are taking a small trip to Edinburgh to finalise a few wedding plans. This means I need to call up a few people and arrange some meetings with them all whilst squeezing in visits to my venue and restaurant, and also squeezing in a Valentines dinner at our evening due venue! I can’t wait for a little city break! Edinburgh is so beautiful!


Sooo the "eat healthy" NY resolution didn't stay around for long and I feel like i've got myself into a right rut. I feel so sluggish and feel like any last morsels of motivation are just evaporating out of me. I need to get my arse into gear and start meal planning and getting in those 30 minutes of exercises whenever I can. I have my first dress fitting in March and do not want to be reporting any gains to her!

Read a book

I love reading my blogs and scrolling through Instagram, it’s obviously so inspiring and motivating but I want to start taking time to read again. I’ve always been an avid reader & I don’t want to replace mindless scrolling when there are so many books I want to read.

Start swimming again

As I mentioned above I need to get my butt into gear (literally) with getting fit and watching my weight with my wedding on the horizon. Out of all the exercises life throws at me I prefer swimming. It’s the only form of exercise that doesn’t make me want to cry so that’s a bonus in my eyes. I haven’t been since November so I need to start ASAP.

Be more organised

I love using my Bullet Journal & will spend an evening setting it up for the month only to leave it on the side and forget to look at it! This month I have simplified it and hoot keep it on me at all times to ensure I’m using it and writing things down!!
